Francesca Hanania is an investor with over six years of experience in venture capital and finance, with a strong focus on the consumer sector. She began her career at Bank of America in London, working in the Consumer Equity Research team for almost three years. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she transitioned into venture capital, joining IRIS Ventures, a €100 million fund based between London and Barcelona, focused on backing innovative consumer brands. After three years at IRIS Ventures, she joined Verlinvest, one of Europe’s leading consumer-focused investment firms, managing approximately €3 billion in assets. Driven by her entrepreneurial ambitions, Francesca decided to return to Milan to co-found Epigenhair, a science-driven company dedicated to hair health and longevity, initially focusing on solutions to preserve and restore natural hair pigmentation. Today, she combines her entrepreneurial journey with her role as an investor at Exceptional Ventures, a venture capital fund focused on helping people live longer, healthier lives.
