Terms and conditions

§1 Scope and subject matter

These Terms and Conditions exclusively govern the contractual relationship between the Azienda per il Turismo Madonna di Campiglio, with registered office at Via Pradalago 4, 38086 Madonna di Campiglio (TN), Italy, exclusive licensee in Italy of the Skinnovation trademark granted by the University of Innsbruck, hereinafter referred to as the “Organizer”, and the respective participants of the event “Skinnovation Italia”, held in Madonna di Campiglio.
The event is subject to a minimum number of participants and has a limited maximum capacity. The minimum age for participation is 18 years.

§2 Settlement of the contract

Participants may purchase tickets through the Organizer’s official website (https://www.skinnovation.it). The contract is deemed concluded once the participant clicks the “Buy Now” button, having verified the accuracy of their data and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
After successful payment, the participant will receive a digital ticket via email, which serves as confirmation of the contract. No physical tickets will be sent by mail or fax. Participants are responsible for keeping their tickets.
Access to the networking platform will be granted no later than 7 days before the event starts (or within 2 days if the ticket is purchased less than one week before the event).
Tickets are personal and non-transferable, unless otherwise approved by the Organizer and compatible with the type of ticket purchased. Discounted tickets may not be transferable.
The participant must confirm they meet the minimum age requirement (18) during the purchase process and may be asked to provide a valid photo ID at the entrance..

§3 Price components and payment modalities

All prices include VAT where applicable under Italian law.
Payment can be made by credit card, instant bank transfer, or, upon request, via invoice.
Tickets are only considered valid once full payment has been received.

§4 Rights and duties

The Organizer reserves the right to make changes to the event content, schedule, or locations on short notice, while ensuring an equivalent alternative is offered (including online formats if needed).

Such changes do not entitle the participant to a refund.
In cases of seriously inappropriate behavior, the Organizer reserves the right to exclude the participant from the event without any refund.

The participant warrants that all eligibility requirements declared during ticket purchase are met. In cases where these cannot be verified (e.g., identity, age, discount eligibility), the Organizer may deny access without any refund.

§5 Liability

The information provided on the Organizer’s website and other communication channels is made without guarantee of completeness or accuracy.
The Organizer shall not be held liable for material or immaterial damages, except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence.
Participation in the event is entirely at the participant’s own risk.
Certain workshops may require the use of alpine sports equipment (e.g., skis, snowboards). Participants without the required skills agree not to take part in such specific activities. In these cases, no partial refund will be granted.

§6 Cancellation, cancellation by the organizer

In the event that the required minimum number of participants is not reached, the organizer may cancel the event. In this case, the participant will be refunded the full ticket price.

Furthermore, the organizer is exempt from holding the event or individual parts of the event in cases of force majeure or due to official orders that result in the cancellation of the event or parts thereof. Force majeure is defined as all unforeseeable, unavoidable events whose effects on the fulfillment of the contract are beyond the control of the organizer (e.g. natural disasters, lack of snow, weather conditions, technical breakdown of lift facilities, strikes, official prohibition). In case of partial or total cancellation of the event due to such reasons, the ticket price cannot be refunded.

The organizer will refund the ticket price to the participants in case of cancellation of the event necessary due to official order as a result of the Covid 19 diseases under the following conditions:

In the event of cancellation no later than 1 month before the start of the event, the entire ticket price will be refunded. In case of cancellation up to 2 weeks before the start of the event, 75% of the ticket price will be refunded. In case of cancellation within 2 weeks before the start of the event, 50% of the ticket price will be refunded.

Access to the Networking App and participation in the Pitch as well as the other parts of the event made available digitally or online shall remain available even in the event of (partial) cancellations due to force majeure or official orders as well as changes or (partial) cancellations within the meaning of § 4 paragraph 1.

§7 Cancellation by the customer

Free withdrawal is not permitted, except for consumers exercising their right of withdrawal under Italian Legislative Decree 206/2005 (Consumer Code).
Participants have 14 days from the date of contract conclusion to withdraw by simply sending an email to skinnovation@campigliodolomiti.it.
If the event begins before the expiration of this 14-day period, the right of withdrawal is voided.

Refund policy beyond the legal right of withdrawal:

  • Within 14 days from purchase: 100% refund

  • Up to 30 days before the event: 75% refund

  • Up to 14 days before the event: 50% refund

  • Less than 14 days before the event: 25% refund

  • After the event has started: no refund

Ticket transfers are subject to prior approval by the Organizer, who reserves the right to deny the request without justification.

§8 Data storage, photos and recordings

By participating in the event, the participant agrees that their name and professional affiliation may be shared with other attendees through the networking platform.
Other personal data, such as email addresses, will not be shared.
The participant agrees to receive newsletters and communications from the Organizer, with the option to unsubscribe at any time via email.
The participant expressly authorizes the Organizer to capture and publish photos, videos, and audio recordings during the event, which may be used for promotional purposes in both online and offline media.

§9 Final Provisions

These Terms and Conditions and the related agreements shall be governed by Italian law.
For any disputes, the Court of Trento (Italy) shall have exclusive jurisdiction, except where otherwise provided by consumer protection laws.
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected.
